Sessions & Funding

At Little Wing’s Big Dreams Nursery we believe that a consistent routine creates a sense of stability and predictability, reducing anxiety and promoting independence amongst children. We believe children benefit most from a full day session which is 7:30am to 6:00pm. There is flexibility in regards to drop off and pick up times when using Government Funded Hours.

Our fees are charged on a monthly basis and invoices are calculated based on 51 weeks a year taking into consideration our annual Christmas closure.Weekly bookings must be for the same session(s) each week. Any changes required will need to be requested in writing with a minimum of a four week notice period.

We accept the 15 and 30 hours of Early Year’s Government Funding. The Government Funding is intended to cover the delivery of childcare only. It does not cover the cost of meals, snacks, consumables, enrichments, extra-curricular activities or additional hours outside of the funding.

For all year round settings like ours which are open 51 weeks a year, the total hours are stretched and divided across the year using 10 hours of funding per day. We have a limited number of term time only spaces per Academic year, these spaces use government funding slightly different. Term time only spaces use 7.5 hours of government funding a day for 15 or 30 hour children.

All children entitled to Government Funded Free hours have the choice to opt in to our Premium Package. Our Premium Package enables all children to access all of the additional and extra-curricular opportunities to help shape our children’s health and development. Our Premium package is included within our price list and is charged at £1.60 per hour for all funded children.

• Weekly Forest School sessions
• Weekly Extra-Curricular activities- Sports Confidence/ Yoga-Laties and Tiny Talk Sign Language
• Weekly inhouse Enrichments
• 2 x Nutritious Hot Meals a day served with a healthy dessert
• Daily Breakfast and Snack time with Fresh Fruit or Vegetables
• Formula milk of your baby’s preference
• Unlimited Care giving supplies

Little Wing’s Big Dreams are mindful of the potential impact of the Premium Package Fee on parents and will highlight this as being an optional charge. If parents choose to opt out of the Premium Package, parents will need to supply their own consumables.

This will however be at the discretion of the Nursery and will need to consider the Opting Out Policy.
